Met Police Volunteer Cadet

If you’re aged 16 –18 and are looking for a fun, challenging and exciting way to gain new skills, help your local community and get a taste of what it’s like to work for the Metropolitan Police Service join the Met’s Volunteer Police Cadets.

What can you expect?

Our cadets meet once a week for two hours and take part in lots of volunteering activities on weekends and during school holidays. There's the opportunity to complete your Duke of Edinburgh Award, plus take part in camps and competitions.
